Le Point D'eau - Cheval is Inspired from the famous -Tentures Des Indes, or Hangings of India, set of 8 tapestries designed during the 18th century and woven at Gobelins. The original artwork was designed by Albert Eckhout, a famous 17th century artist. This small extract depicts a horse in the exotic flora and fauna of the Dutch colonies.
